Biography

Josiah is a recent law school graduate who has extensive experience in political organizing, legislative work, and consumer protection policy. Before law school, he spent time working as a researcher for the New York Civil Liberties Union on their Equality Watch project. He later worked as a legislative assistant in the Texas Capitol, where he worked on consumer protection legislation as well as a broad swathe of other policy areas. Josiah has also worked as an organizer for various political or environmental campaigns--including for Environment Texas and Beto for Senate. During his law school summers, Josiah worked on complex civil litigation--specializing in working with clients to improve their claims.

Josiah assists with the firm's consumer arbitration docket for its financial service clients and is often the first point of contact for clients. Josiah helps assess clients' needs, guides them through the intake process, and connects them with the right resources within the firm. Josiah also leads the firm's communications to update its clients about how to implement changes in regulation. And anytime legal research is needed to help solve a client's problem, Josiah is on top of it.

Josiah enjoys baseball, disc golf, and horror films. He also enjoys helping his partner with her dog walking/sitting business. He, his partner, and the dogs all enjoy camping, hiking, and birdwatching-though the dogs always want to do more than watch.
