Founded in 2011, Hutcheson Bowers LLLP is an innovative boutique firm, created by two women who have built a firm of problem solvers. But solving any one problem for our clients is not enough. Our Firm’s History

Shannon and Allison each spent over a decade litigating commercial business matters at an international law firm. When we started our firm in 2011, we focused on employment law. Our firm became home to recognized experts in employment law, having lawyers who are board certified in Labor and Employment, who have been hired as expert witnesses on employment law matters, and who have been recognized as Super Lawyers, Best Lawyers, and Employment Law Stars.

In 2015, one of our clients, a pioneer in the prepaid debit industry to whom our founders had been providing employment-related advice since the company was founded in 1999, asked us to help them manage a growing docket of consumer arbitrations alleging EFTA violations. We dove in and created a unique, systemic approach. Soon, we were handling hundreds of consumer arbitrations and litigation matters for various leading fintech companies and banks across the United States. Today, we advise on a myriad of other issues impacting the financial services industry.

In 2024, Sue Ayers joined the firm as a partner, bringing her leading eminent domain practice with her. Sue also brings extensive commercial litigation experience and serves as the firm’s litigation specialist for its thriving financial services and employment law practices. As we close out the 2020s and head into the 2030s, the firm looks forward to staying on the cutting edge of this country’s economic growth while harnessing that special wisdom that only comes from experience.
