Biography

Leslie is a native Texan and joined the firm as a senior associate in 2023. She is an innovative and skilled litigator who devotes her practice to the representation of financial services companies in consumer disputes. Currently, Leslie manages a national consumer dispute docket for one of the largest digital banks in the country.

Before joining Hutcheson Bowers LLLP, Leslie represented some of the largest bank holding companies in commercial and consumer collections, bankruptcy proceedings, and civil litigation. She also has experience in representing professionals, such as attorneys, real estate brokers, and accountants, in malpractice and breach of fiduciary duty claims, in state and federal courts. Leslie has first-chaired multiple jury trials and arbitrations as well as authored several appellate briefs that resulted in favorable outcomes for her clients.

Leslie graduated from South Texas College of Law in Houston, where she was on the Dean’s Honor List. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a double minor in business studies and law from New York University. Leslie is a certified mediator and is licensed to practice in all federal and bankruptcy courts of Texas. She is fluent in Shanghainese and conversationally fluent in Mandarin and Spanish. In her free time, Leslie enjoys hanging out with her family, playing piano, and watching historical fiction shows.
